About Our Practice
Capital Coordinated Medicine is a group of physicians, physician assistants (PAs), and nurse practitioners who visit patients in their homes and assisted living facilities. Our practice is designed to see patients who have difficulty getting out to see their regular primary care doctor, whether it be due to old age, physical ailments, or dementia.
What sets us apart from other practices who make house calls in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area is that we put our patients and their families first. We are not a concierge practice and do not charge any fees above the normal cost of the provider's visit. We're happy to bill your insurance company and will try our best not to let financial difficulties stand in the way of you or your loved one's medical needs.
Each new patient will be assigned to one of our caring, experienced providers based on their geographic location. Depending on the area, you or your loved one may be seen by a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. At this time, we cannot guarantee that all patients will be seen regularly by a physician. Rest assured that all of our providers, regardless of their title, are well-trained in in-home primary care and are able to write prescriptions and order any necessary treatments.
You or your loved one's provider will visit approximately once per month, depending on his or her medical needs. For more urgent concerns, you can page your provider during normal business hours by calling our main office number. Outside of normal business hours, one of our providers is on-call 24/7 to respond to urgent matters.
Billing and Insurance
At Capital Coordinated Medicine, we don’t want financial difficulties to stand between our patients and their medical needs. The good news is that for those patients with qualifying insurance, nearly all costs of a house call visit are covered.
At this time, we are only able to accept those patients with Medicare Part B or Medicaid as their primary insurance. We are working to begin accepting other insurance carriers in the near future. If you have any questions about whether you or your loved one's insurance is eligible for our service, please don't hesitate to contact one of our intake specialists.
We do accept patients who do not have insurance or simply wish to pay out-of-pocket. For your convenience, we have unique and affordable payment options available. Please call our billing office and ask to speak to one our knowledgeable and friendly team members about your options.
